I am an avid outdoorsman. HIking, backpacking, mountain-biking, rock-climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding...as well as others. Through the Orion Project I intend to capture these adventures through photography, video, and music.Documenting the lifestyles of myself and my my friends on our adventures through the Appalachian mountains and beyond. The Orion Project's mission is to show the creation of "something out of nothing". I use what would otherwise be considered outdated, old, obsolete, or ignored equipment as well as open-source or commonly found programs on the internet to create my works. The Orion Project's intent is to show the average individual who aspires to adventure beyond the norm that it doesn't take a fortune or a pile of brand new name-brand equipment to create a canvas from the world around you.
