In order to convey Bob's brilliance and skill as a photographer one must first know that he has the heart and soul of a true, fine artist. He hones his talent with his boundless knowledge, and combines it with his masterful digital techniques to produce utterly inspiring pictures of superb quality. Bob's intellect is vast. His witty sense of humour pours into his creations and it's always present in the comments that he so generously gives to his Flickr friends. He is a kind and loving person with an intelligence that is both captivating and intriguing. With his pictures he will take you to the moon and back but never in the conventional sense! He will invite you to a magical castle in the sky. You will get an insight to the depths of hell, filled with ghouls and skeletons and perhaps a cyclops or two! You may travel on a fantasy ride to a world of robots! Just as easily you can be swept into an idyllic landscape, a haven of beauty and tranquillity filled with rock pools and bathing beauties!. A portrait, or just a beautiful floral composition. Unpredictable, charming, dare I say beguiling! Wickedly funny but always, wonderful. That is Bob. I should be proud to have friends like Bob Gilmour, because I was so ordinary about photography but this is my friend Bob very much helped me in the world of photography through the posting of photographs. Bob has a keen eye senses the photo shoot targets will she choose and produce very spectacular and filled with a sense of taste. In each photograph Bob heartbeat many invites me to continue to want to learn as he is, Bob's really nice and very polite there is a sense of pride in myself I have found a friend who gifted genius. You really deserve to be a reliable professional photography. Thank you my friend Bob would be my flickr friends. An outstanding photographer with post-processing skills and creativity to match! Bob has a fantastic talent for creating breathtaking images which tell a story all their own and create mood that pulls you into the photo. What's amazing is that I don't think he even realizes how talented he really is! In addition to his wonderful talent, Bob is a very generous and considerate friend. Not only does he take the time to visit and leave 'true' comments (unlike the many canned comments received on Flickr). When he read in one of my comments that I would like to learn how to use textures like he does, he took time out of his schedule to send me links to tutorials to help me with my desire to learn! He's got talent and is a truly thoughtful person too. That, makes quite a special person, in my book!
