Hi, i'm mimickr in flickr ...
obviously mimickring paper folding of others..
i'm outa my boyhood for a long time ago and got passed the average lifetime of horses (trying to be somewhat obscure here)
one thing for sure is that i'm captured forever.
(wonder what it means by 'open' in the singleness... married? or not? or what?)
An Island, Morning Calm.
(hmm... flickr will never give me a login hello in my native language.. which is sad..)
(flickr gives a login hello in my native language: Bangawoyo)
...who's gonna be always a paper-folding learner/novice...
... and who was once quite innocent before joining flickr...
now turned into a person who learned how to "twist" his mind and to "torture" a piece of paper easily
mainly from the following flickr members (appeared in my memory-wise):
. Philip the barbarian(or would i say the warrior?),
. Joel the sneaky(sorry if you don't like.. ^L^"),
and, of course, learned how to be elegant, creative, fantastic, etc.
from my ladies,
. Jane (mawelucky) and Christiane (Mélisande*)
(boy, have i ever called Melisande by her name?)
together with other friends of mine and other people in the net.
(i think i should give a special thanks to Chris Palmer, shouldn't i?)
yea, i arrived at flickr due to his flower tower (a little details are on my old profile below).
thanks to my frineds in flickr, i can finally fold some of his flower tower.
but one thing that i can't forget is that i met people who made my eyes open to the world of "great" paper folding.
so i thanks for that.
well... i'm gibberishing again...
ok, last two words...
one is that i am not a native english speaker (as you've guessed that already).
the other is that most of my photos are of size 640x480 with not-so-great quality

Hi, i'm mimickr in flickr ...
who's gonna be always a learner/novice paper-folding lover...
and wanna fold Chris Palmer's flower tower someday
(hopefully to change this part to 'and who knows how to fold Chris Palmer's flower tower at last ^L^").
That's right. That's how i wound up here in flickr. One day i was looking for how to fold the flower tower. And i got the words 'closed-back' or 'open-back' which, i guess, is related somewhat with the flower tower. Of course, i googled these terms and fortunately i found a couple of nice paper folding site including origami in flickr. Then i started mimickr those great works.
i have two things to tell first (well i guess, not first): one is that i am not a native english speaker (you may already notice that). so i may gibberish sometime (well, yea~ yeah~, often? always?). please correct my mistakes rather than ignore it. I may forget to express my appreciation for other's generosity. but it's not because i am rude or impolite. sometimes i think 'thank you' or 'i appreciate it' is not enough for other's help or generosity. and i don't know what to say in that case.
the other is that i am not so rich enough to buy a origami book or nice sheets of paper to make nice looking pieces as shown in flickr. well, a good digital camera? sorry. none. i have a friend who has a cellphone with cam of only 400,000 pixels (you will see what i mean from the quality of my photos). simply i'm doin my best so far. So, Warning! most of the pictures are of size 640x480 with poor quality
thanks for reading my whining.
p.s.
by the way, can some one post detail pictures of a flower tower? or step by steps? or any kind of help will be appreciated. i've read a nice hint by Dennis Walker and try to make a CP on my own based on that hint.
well, Thomas Hull's reply for flower tower... it's hard to understand. wish i could see Chris Palmer's video clip.
