My day job is a software engineer. Occasionally I write small stuff myself. This week I got fed up at the inability of aperture to invert pictures (I have some old negatives I scanned negative on a hdd I recovered), so I wrote a plugin to do it. It turns out that there are a lot of core image filters that could easily be exposed to aperture, but I haven't done that yet.

If you want a plugin to do this, its www.vy.com/invertimage.zip - just put it in ~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Edit
