I've always enjoyed taking pictures, but, I usually took one good picture and fifty bad ones. In the spring of 2011 I took a picture that I really liked and decided I wanted to learn more about the art of photography. I upgraded my camera, took a couple of classes, and discovered that the little buttons and dials on the camera actually did things.

I love landscape photography (particularly abandoned barns and outbuildings), but wildlife photography interests me as well. I'm fortunate to have a variety of farm land, state parks, rivers, and lakes close by so as to feed my photography addiction.
