Ik woon in Almelo (Provincie Overijssel in Nederland) en heb tijdens mijn fietstochten (meestal op de racefiets) door het prachtige Twente en de schilderachtige Achterhoek altijd een camera (compact, Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 of een Canon Powershot S 80) bij me om mooie plaatjes te schieten. Voor het "betere werk" heb ik een Canon EOS 50 D met diverse lenzen (17-85mm., 55-200mm., 70-300 mm.en 100-400 mm.).

I live in Almelo (70.000 inhabitants) in the East of Holland, near the border with Germany.

Holland is a small country in West-Europe, with on the East-border Germany, the South-border Belgium and on the Nord-West-border the Northsea.

One of my hobby’s is taking pictures in the country. When the weather is good, I take my race bike and go for a ride of 50-100 km., always with my camera (Canon Powerpoint S 80) and on the way I take my pictures. I have also a Canon EOS 50 D with various lenses.

With my pictures I try to show the beauty of my country and the place where I live and also I try to show the beauty of flora and fauna.
