I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. In 2004 I decided to sell my telescopes, my other long time passion, and concentrate on photography as my hobby. At that time I owned a Nikon FM2, to use in astro-photography, a few lenses and a couple of telescopes with accessories.
One day while searching eBay I found a Nikon N70 and traded a 50mm f/1.2 lens for the camera body. This was my first camera with auto everything. What impressed me most wasn't all the auto exposure and auto focus capabilities, but the metering system. Until this time I had only used matched needle metering so the electronic metering amazed me. After selling my last telescope, the FM2 and the N70, I bought a Nikon F100 and began to indulge my passion for photography. Since then I have "gone digital" and am loving every minute of it.
I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
