I am me, I really don’t want to do artistic photography, and I’m really more in to being the guy who took the photo on that math book you remember. I feel there is more in that sort of image now a day: being that there is a long list of photos that have meaning, why add to that list when you will never be seen? I would rather be seen even if no one hears my name, and by taking the stock photo used for the new tacky mountain background that the local bank is turning in to there new more personable wallpaper has a ring to me that just says success.

Because success is in the mind I think it is a fitting picture for mine. Its not that I don’t respect the opinion of some person I don’t know on the net is just that I don’t really care at all. If you are one of the few that know me and still think that I can “do better” or that my goal is shallow or pointless, well then I guess you know why you had to look me up and why I haven’t called or mailed you.

All in all photography is not an art it is a skill, a skill that can be changed over time. I remember when the idea of a one time use camera with a flash was out of this world; now we have one time use digital! a fucking waste of resources in my mind but then again I hate digital. Right now as it is I’m using a digital because I have no real lab to develop my work anymore, it is a sad excuse of a camera you can focus for hours and still when you upload you’re better off deleting the whole batch and blaming it on error of tec.
