We are students from Morocco and the United States.

What are we doing here?

Well: We're on a certain type of cultural exploration, one that we hope will yield art via documentary and editorial photography.

Why are we doing this?

Simply, we hope that art will speak louder than words and intentions when it comes to trying to understand one another. We are one. (It just takes a little help sometimes to see that.)

Who is OneWorld Now!?

You can check us out here: www.oneworldnow.org . In the meantime let's say we're a Seattle-based not-for-profit organization that teaches Chinese and Arabic to high school students as the core of a full program on global leadership. We work in friendship with students from Morocco and China, countries with which we also conduct student exchanges.

This particular set of photos was completed in partnership with the LINC program, Amideast, The World Affairs Council, and Ayusa. Moroccan high school students photographed the U.S. and U.S. high school students phtotographed Morocco, specifically the cities of Rabat and Seattle.

It's our project, but we have a guide...
