Formerly, my screen name was OneFsTopOfF. Since I am contemplating getting into a more professional status, I thought my screen name should be a little more "serious". Like most people, I have to work for a living and to support my lifestyle. So when I get a break, I like to have a good time, be a little adventurous, and observe the world around me. I enjoy sharing some of those observations through photography and once in a while with a poetic commentary. Kind of an everyday guy with a Jimmy Buffett wannabe attitude.

PORTS OF CALL

Sails flowing into the sunset,

Tracing breezes to the open sea.

A fading orb lights the way,

To a safe harbor we cannot see.

As others glide to their destiny,

We live ours watching.

Calm waters soothe our souls,

Warm winds caress our thoughts.

The view of those ships,

Is as much to us,

As the sailing is to them.

We are all a part of the picture,

That is painted by natures brush.

Some dream, some see, some do.

There is a place for it all;

Limited by our efforts;

Inspired by our desire.
