Peace. Shalom. Salaam.

The book is done and has been in stores since Fall, 2007. We were approached to write a book on "spiritual gardening". There is a book by that name already and we didn't want to do the same kind of thing. Why write a book that's already been written? So we decided to find out what kinds of spaces have been designated by diffierent cultures as "sacred" and see how people create places of peace and tranquility for themselves, in their own spaces. We were very fortunate to get to know some wonderful people who shared their stories, their gardens and their photos with us. The Flickr community was universally fantastic and we've formed great friendships with many of the folks we've met here. We really want to thank all of you who sent us and allowed us to download your photos!!!!! If you are one of them, please let us know. We are happy with the book and our editor pronounced it "Wonderful". www.sevenarrowsfarm.com/Sacred Gardens_Our Book.htm

In addition, we would describe ourselves as lovers of gardens, dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, all animals, actually. Judy volunteers with several animal welfare groups. We are horticulturists, authors, photographer (sort of-still LOTS to learn) herbalists, exterior space designers - homes included, natural cosmetic formulators. See the web site for more. We're old hippies and still 22 on the inside!
