Artist in Fashion

The first memories I have of producing artwork evolve around human figures and fashion. It felt natural to draw them, even though I was self-conscious about my artistic abilities. It was only when I attended vocational Dancing School in the U.K, at the age of 13, that my artwork and other creative endeavors began to really flourish.

At the age of 30, I now have two main styles. With a Diploma in Classical Ballet and a Diploma in Graphic Design, one of my styles has evolved (like a full circle) into Fashion Illustration/Art. Primarily I am on the search for truth and beauty. I also explore different aspects of life, such as masculinity and femininity and the ego versus the higher self.

My other style is Abstract Painting. It is here that I am able to work with my deep connection with nature as a human being. I love the way that different people can see different things in the one painting. When someone can take my artwork home and really make it their own, it makes me very happy!

I am artistically at the stage in my life where I consider myself to be an Abstract Artist. The search for truth and beauty that I consciously explore in my Fashion Illustration/Artwork, to me is abstract, especially beauty. There's universal truths, but is there a universal beauty?
