Flickr for me is about fun and enjoyment... I love a good photo and I love admiring other peoples good work. I also love it when people add a story to their photo, it helps me connect to their image and to them. I tend to add comments to mine because I guess I'm just a little verbose.

Contacts of mine- please don't be offended if I don't comment on every photo you post... some are to my taste and some are not, and that's the same with all things in life.

Thank you to all the people who have made me their contact, it's nice to know that you like my work... and I don't expect you to comment on every photo of mine either! Just the ones that 'speak to you' is enough for me.

2015 - I've noticed that random people are making me their contact. People whose stream I have never visited or commented on. I find they are picking me up from other peoples streams when I make a comment.

And when I go and check this new persons profile I find that they are following THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of people. (One person had 107k people she was following!!!)

It is impossible to be a good Flickr contact to that many people, and I believe that this situation is only so that the persons own photos get lots of views when it shows up in the contacts view. Are they trying to skew their 'interestingness' to get into Explore? Don't know. A lot of people just return the favour and make that person their contact as well.

I call these people 'Contact Collectors'.

So people, if you are one of those collectors.... you will be blocked instantly. I always check out the profile info on people who make me their contact, so be warned. (It would be easiest for both of us if you just refrained altogether)

2017 I'm not here as much anymore... it's just life having it's way with me. Also, I'm just not taking any many photos as I used to .

Enjoy life.... eat well, live well, die prettily if you can.
