Oliver’s interest in photography first flourished at school, and thereafter at university, where he won numerous prizes and worked on in-house publications as a photographer and editor. A year's travel in China, and subsequent trips around the globe, gave him the chance to develop his skills as a travel photographer and photo-jounalist.

He has been working as a freelance photographer ever since, and has worked in the Middle East, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. In addition to this Oliver works as a stills photographer, also specialising in parties, actor’s headshots, and weddings.

Oliver has done freelance work for the Sunday Times, and has been published in The Telegraph, The Times, and The Stage to name a few. Recent clients include The ENO, Marks & Spencer, The Harare International Festival of the Arts, Investec Asset Management, Scott Prenn LLP, Tamasha Theatre, Seabright Productions, HemiHelp, and Eton College. Oliver is available for commissions.
