Open Learning Exchange (OLE) is focused upon improving the value and experience of learning for kids worldwide.

In the 100 countries with lowest GDP and lowest literacy (per capita) there are one billion (that is 1,000,000,000) children who lack even the most basic education. These kids are 1/6th of the world's population, and their numbers increase every day.

OLE is an global consortium of social entrepreneurs in lower-resourced countries networking with international peers to achieve the United Nations Development Goal for Education: ensuring everyone can read; do maths; create, appreciate, and participate in their culture by 2015. Through education, OLE is working towards a world where every person can thrive.
