hi:) you are first friend
How would I describe Oldtasty to someone else? Well, he's not old, and I have no personal experience of his tastiness or lack thereof, but does have an eye for the beautiful and interesting. He tells nice travel stories, too. Oh, and he's fun to be around. And he's a fellow Missourian to boot!
Seen in FlickrCentral on April 20, 2004: "Oldtasty: you gotta hump me" Will anything say more than this one quote? I'd like to think not.
There was something odd about the taste of the carrots, he thought. Caramel, perhaps? Clove? Or fennel? No, no, not quite that either. Ah yes, he thought, smiling, in the moments before. Almonds. It must be almonds.
Strange taste in carrots? Almonds? ...Hydrocyanic acid. Don't eat the carrots!! Whew, that was a close one. You gotta stop eating weird stuff or get a food taster, OT. And start posting pics of your lunch again! P.S. since I saved your life, you are mine now. (thanks Plurp)
Our man in Beijing. OT always has the best stories to tell and seems to lead the kind of life that will only grow richer in retrospect. High on my admire list.
If he came to visit me, I'd make him Turducken!!!
OldTasty has a great eye for the curious and unusual, and always entertains me with the highlights from his stay in a foreign land.
Very easygoing and fun to hang out with. :)
