It's been too long in waiting to honor my friend Connie. She found me when I was a flickr newbie and needed a contact and has never left my side. I often get heartfelt, and thoughtful comments which inspire and has given me great joy. Not many on flickr will take the time to be expressive when commenting- Connie excels in this and for it I am very grateful. Through Connie's unique and talented art I have been able for the first time in my life to appreciate an abstract. It has opened up my artistic world, not only to enjoy her many works, but to create my own. Connie continues to inspire me with each of her masterpieces. Connie is very inspirational. She may take a photo of a fountain, and then the fun begins! She starts playing with color, brushes, gradients , layers and soon a masterpiece emerges! Her art is abstract but will always be reminescent of something. You "feel" her paintings! I love how her paintings have a "glow" She knows how to balance color and value and the compositions are strong. Most of her paintings are "jewells" of color, glimmering off the screen. Textures are beautiful, and everything sings with harmony!
