To all my 'flickr' friends,

I'm sorry I've been out of touch and very inactive. Here's why. I injured my back in early May, tried everything to fix it but finally ended up having surgery in early August. I'm better but not at 100% YET. I hope to be hiking and submitting soon. UPDATE 12/30/2023: After writing the foregoing I had another back surgery in early 2021. As of now I'm much, much better but my stamina for extended tours and hiking isn't what it used to be. I've also decided to get back into film photography, mainly black and white. I'll be using my trusty Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL, purchased new in 1968, and my Rollei 3.5 MX-EVS. I'll develop my own film and scan thereafter. I've also decided that I'll only do monochrome submissions from black and white film. No more converting color images to monochrome.
