Hi there, whoever you are that stumbled across my Flickr page.

I am Norwegian and live and breathe in Norway, land of the midnight sun.

Strange though.. I have never really seen this so called midnight sun. I think it is something they have on postcards only, now that they have invented HDR...

I started out with photography when I was 14. Got my first SLR when I was 15. Took a lot of slides. Later I got a few Zenit which I bought in Russia. I loved my Zenitar 16 mm fisheye. But then I wore out all my cams and ended up with a compact cam instead. Then came the digital revolution and destroyed all my dreams of a new SLR. Untill progress made its way through a series of rather poor models of Canon cameras and ended up in... Canon EOS Kiss X2. I decided that the digital world had finally reached blooming so that I could buy a new camera.

Actually I was triggered by my daughter who decided that she would follow in my footsteps (or actually I think she is pretty much making her own, leading where I will never dare to follow...) and buy a Canon Eos 400D. I was so excited that I wantet my own cam again.

Thank you Ebay for making this dream a little more affordable and thank you Elisabeth for colouring my dreams.

My pictures should be enjoyed near the fireplace, easy listening to Deep Forest, Enigma, ERA, Karunesh, Yanni and similar world music.
