Started getting back into photography a couple of years ago after not doing much for about 25 years. After having a liver transplant and being forced to retire after many years in the printing industry, I needed something to keep me from going batty. Photography seemed like a logical progression.

Got seriously bitten by the bug again and find photographing nature to be a wonderful yet very expensive hobby for me. It does provide me with much enjoyment and keeps me active in many areas of life I would probably not pay any attention to otherwise.

I have gone through a couple of cameras in a short time to get where I am today using a canon 5DII and canon 7D. I don't feel I will make any upgrades for a while unless I win the lottery. The one thing I would like to pursue is a large format film camera as the B&W images from those never cease to amaze me.

Bill is one of the best nature photographers in our area. He is a standup gentleman always willing to help others learn and grow in there photography, and he's pretty good at sharing his secret spots for some really great photo ops. He might get ribbed a little by me, but it always seems to go both ways with ease. And he is great at volunteering his talents for our local photo club, once again helping others.
