Since, at the end of 2006, I discovered digital photography, it has become, for the time being, in a way part of my every day life.

My actual equipment: a Canon IXUS 240 HS. That's all, and that' s perfect for me. I'm an inveterate unprofessional, a passionate, predaceous amateur.

What makes me love a photo is kind of magic, is its poetical quality, which often appears when a photo succeeds in combining the impression of something quite familiar with that of mystery or surprise. I would be happy if, for instance, I had made a photo as simple and beautiful as the screenshots from an old Japanese b&w film I posted on Feb 12, 2008.
