I was 'born and raised' in the USA state of West Virginia - the state I dearly love ... (and to a lesser extent in Virginia and Maryland). I am married to a beautiful, 'almost-perfect' woman who is the love of my life (for over fifty-six years now). We have two wonderful daughters and three equally wonderful grandkids (ages 25, 16 and 15). Grandkids make the circle complete.

I've lived in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, Texas, Florida and Saudi Arabia; and have travelled to many other states and countries as shown on the maps below. I enjoy photography - which goes very well with my love for visiting places I've not been to before. Unfortunately, though I've taken lots of 'film' pictures (mostly snapshots) through the years, I just got into digital photography a relatively few years ago.

Sure wish I'd been a better photographer when I was travelling extensively! Such is life ... it's always easy to look back with some disappointments, but I'm blessed and have little to grouse about. Like selecting a camera, life is filled with compromises.

By the way, I have poor vision and am color blind (deficient). So, don't be surprised to see some weird colors (along with numerous other detractions) in my photos!
