Ageing rock guitarist & railway nut. Born Reading 1949, first saw trains at Tilehurst around 1951. Moved to Gosport 1959 (no trains), worked for Ordnance Survey, lots of odd jobs including BR p/way, but main job was on BR Isle of Wight ferries 1973-86. Lots of free/cheap travel in UK & Europe, so thousands of photos from a range of cameras, starting with Kodak 44A, then cheap 35mil, Kodak Instamatic, Olympus OM10, Pentax MG Auto/Manual, Ricoh, now using Fujifilm S9600. Getting a bit more active since not having to pay for film & developing. Computers be praised!
