I grew up in the Southwest, but moved to the Midwest after high school. I started taking photos when I was fifteen, but laziness, money and technical know-how dogged me at every turn.

Then, years later: digital cameras. I delete about two-thirds of what I shoot, and I edit myself constantly. Don't be suprised if, after seeing my photo total in the six hundreds, to discover that a few days later it has dropped a hundred photos. I grow to hate and resent them and I delete them post-haste!

The stuff that remains is, in my opinion, pretty good. It primarily focuses on non-representation of found objects: snippets of fabric, a shadow across a wall, weathered metal. It may not be an unique view in an age of boundless photography that's inhibited only by time and harddrive capacity, but it is decidedly my view.
