This isn’t your father’s vocational school! The face of vocational education has changed dramatically over the past decade or so. Yes, we still have programs that will prepare you for immediate employment within the workforce, but we have so much more. We have programs and opportunities to prepare you for the rigors of college and pathways to get you to the next step in life. Nearly 35 years after OHP opened its doors, our high school students can choose from college-level academic courses, earn college credit through our various partner colleges, develop skills to earn certifications, focus on a specific area of interest in one of over 20 programs, and engage in real-life, hands-on learning opportunities.

Students in our adult and continuing education programs have the chance to refresh and renew their lives and careers. There are programs to help refresh your skills if you have recently been displaced from a job or maybe it’s just that you want to accomplish a dream after years spent in another position. From opportunities in the growing health care industry to the chance to earn certifications and training in manufacturing, the convenience and flexibility of an OHP adult and continuing education are all within your reach.

Naturally, we take pride in the chance to offer education with a difference. But at OHP, we see so much more in our students. We see the future nurse, the future teacher, the future architect, the future business owner, the future “techie,” and the future chef. Perhaps your path will guide you into a brand new career, starting over after years in the workforce. Maybe your path will lead you into working with children, animals, in construction or with automobiles. Maybe you will be the next great entrepreneur or relish being a team player in a supporting role. For every face on the OHP campus, there’s a unique story waiting to be written. And for most, that story starts at OHP.

Where can an OHP education take you? How far will you go? Your story is waiting to be written at OHP. The easiest way is begin is to contact us. We would love to send you more information, answer any questions, or schedule a tour.
