Leah | salome_st_john just started appearing one day, and at first I thought “this will pass” but she persisted and very gradually worked her way into my world. I thank her for that and I appreciate that she seems to appreciate many things which I in fact, also appreciate. A special character (|) who somehow finds the time to take very good photos while also doing some very scholarly writing and making tons of clever and complimentary comments on what seems like most other flickrers' photos.

When I first clicked on Salome's profile I thought I'd read "I also like to send gifts". So I made her a contact. You know. To get a gift. Then I saw my wishful thinking had played a trick on me and now it's too late to de-contact her since that's just pathetic. I hope I still get a gift.
This is a big, giant SCREAM to say how much I love salome-st-john, and I SUCK because I was in NYC when she called and then sick and never got together with her. Which means my life is sorely lacking, and yours is, too, if she's not in it. She's, like, totally smart and stuff! "I LOVE YOU!!!"
