Ogeechee Riverkeeper is a 501c3 nonprofit that works to protect, preserve, and improve the watershed of the Ogeechee and Canoochee rivers. Ogeechee Riverkeeper works on all of the streams flowing out to Ossabaw Sound and St. Catherine’s Sound. The Ogeechee River system drains more than 5,000 square miles of land and includes four sub-watersheds: Upper Ogeechee, Lower Ogeechee, Ogeechee Coastal and the Canoochee watersheds. The Ogeechee River itself is approximately 245 miles long. We would use this account to share nature photos, event photos and images of testing and cleanup in our watershed.
