During his early days, he lived in NY (Southside of Brooklyn) but at age 3 his family moved to the state of Maryland on the lower Eastern Shore where he was raised in Dorchester County. He grew up in the town of Secretary, Maryland. While there, he began school, attending Head start at the early age of 3.
By the age of four Erick attended Warwick Elementary School, which he completed in 1995.

Military Service
Next up for Erick was military service from 2001 to 2003. He joined the United States Marine Corps right after high school graduation. Erick left for boot camp in 2001 and trained at Parris Island, SC. Words from the Writer
After talking with Erick it becomes very clear that Gavin Conner Ramos, his son, is his life and most prized possession. His son is what he lives for and works hard for, just like any other parent. He has started young with Gavin involving him in modeling and acting, trying to open more doors for his future so that his opportunities are endless as he grows up. In his words, "I would never force my son into something he does not like or wishes not to be involved in. He loves the camera and enjoys acting." It is quite obvious that Gavin takes after his father. "He reminds me of me. He is a bright kid, and for 3 1/2 yrs. old is very smart. I bought him an iPod touch for his 3rd birthday and it has helped him tremendously in his advancement in learning. Every week we browse the AppStore and we purchase new educational games for him to learn & play with."

Erick plans to further support his causes and start his own non-profit group, and someday become well-known for his involvement in helping children across the world that are less fortunate.
His love for his son and children in general has led him to become involved in various charities with hopes of helping one child at a time live a healthy and poverty free life.
With this involvement and recognition he plans to spread the word and reach out to other public figures in an attempt to work together and find a single solution to stop poverty, starvation, and cure diseases once and for all.
