"Hi there! I'm Vlad. I was born in 1980 and started building LEGO some five years later. I went into a Dark Age from 13 to 25, but this ended with the release of LEGO Star Wars The Video Game! I bought this very great game, and with it came a mini-kit... That rekindled my old love for the plastic brick! Slowly, but surely, I started collecting, and within a year I produced my first MOC after my Dark Age. It is now (July 2012) seven year later and I still love it! I keep trying to find new uses for old bricks and clever tricks of construction. These tricks - more oft as not - make my MOCs notoriously fragile... Though I'd like to think it is my MOCs that take their breath away, but in fact, friends entering my LEGO-room hold their breath befóre they get in... I explore various themes, but two themes are dominant though; Castle and Space, this hasn't changed since I was a kid!

I work in a laboratory. I develop new ways to combat infectious diseases. This vignette here is the like of a virology lab with equipment I work with every day. This here is an artistic impression of an Adenovirus vaccine entering a cell. Vaccination saves lives.
