Unless you are taking photos for a living don't fret about gear. If you cooked a great meal, people might show interest in the recipe or ingredients but rarely what kind of pots and pans you used.

Why the nickname..?

'Oddlegs' - I inherited my mothers knees, along with her facial hair. I keep them in a box on the sideboard.

I have no children. The world is a cruel place, especially for children who may resemble a skull on a stick.

I have step children, and step grandchildren courtesy of my partner. They are lovely and funny, but more expensive to run than a decent camera system. If I had to choose...? the children every time!...

I work with the elderly, being one helps.
