Hi! I am a portrait photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I divide my time between the tech industry and sessions with clients. In my spare time I thoroughly enjoy street photography, creating fine art prints, and travel.

In 2011 I embarked on a life changing journey that began when I decided to quit my job in Orange County, CA and embark on a year-long trip through South America and Southeast Asia. During that trip I developed a passion for capturing the moment beyond a memory. While photos never replace memories, photography allows me to revisit moments and reembrace feelings. This was the initial seed that since blossomed into my passion for photography.

Upon the conclusion of my trip and return to a semi-ordered kind of life, I found my opportunities to shoot varied environments during great outdoor natural lighting was very limited. Thus I embarked on a new photographic journey that was far more local. I began to study light so I could create images and tell stories through photography at all times of the day in any location. The study of light has enabled me to progress into the world of portraits, but has also vastly improved my landscape and street photography.
