As a cat junkie, I think that the first Silvia’s picture that attracted my attention was “the creation of her husband by Zeus-the cat”. But there was more to the picture that a cute cat. There was a wonderful sense of humor, sophistication and – poetry. I think that her photographs are sublimely poetic – country roads, an exotic view (she seems to visit many beautiful places), flowers, shoes (!), landscapes, portraits, deserted beaches, winding streets of old towns, weathers, shapes of clouds, dreamy feline eyes… Many of us take pictures but precious few is capable of infusing them with such poetic beauty. To complete the picture, titles of her photographs are always fun and/or literary. And then, her pictures tell or imply stories (for example a sexy shoe abandoned in a hurry -she must be a shoe fetishist) letting our imagination soar and bask in golden delight!
