A very honest testimonial: Ai pohaku takes unpretentious photos. I see simplicity in her approach. I see photos that grab the complexingly simple facets of life. Some people are able to do it with words; some with paint; some with dance. I see her pictures in the same arena-they're artistic, natural, and wonderful to look at. But, again, the key to her ability, I think, is in her seemingly mundane photos. Then again, her collection doesn't overwhelm you because she takes photos of real people doing every day stuff; these are the ones that add fun to it all. I really like this chick and I hope she appreciates at least one of my own photos because that would inspire me to go out there and capture life, people, and the little things in life that often go unnoticed.
