This is the official feed for pictures about Ocagnano, tiny corsican village. Village of my ancestors. I have spent every summer for 23 years and I go back whenever I can.

I have 50% corsican blood and feel very strongly about Corsica. I try to develop the presence of information online and encourage people to go visit our beautiful island.

I love the smell of the 'maquis', the tiny villages on the mountain crest, the hidden fountains, the colours of hazelnut trees, mimosas and citrus fruits, the strength of the people who live there 365 days a year, I like how old many buildings are, I like that in Corsica it feels like nowhere else.I like the music, from the heart , with no instrument, the food of chestnut cake and sausage in bread, I miss my grandma who was unique et wonderful. I like art and craft. I like to paint and draw. I like food. I have done some travelling. I love lamps and rugs. I am currently decorating the house we just bought and using Flickr for inspiration.

If I could, my house would probably ressemble a shop full of necklaces, vases, colourful mugs, millions of pictures frames , vintage items, revamped furniture and I would have to buy a bigger house.
