Hello!

We are a group of 5 working under our fearless master weaver Shelley Socolofsky as we work on and create a 8' x 5' tapestry for our weaving class at the Oregon College of Art and Craft.

The tapestry design is based on the 1495-1505 series of tapestries known as The Hunt of the Unicorn from Europe. We are reinterpreting these tapestries through material and shaping of the tapestry. We will individually respond to each other throughout the tapestry and rotate our positions regularly.

The finished tapestry will be auctioned off to benefit the Oregon College of Art and Craft in the Spring of 2011.
