Started photographing as soon as I got a camera in my hands. As a small kid the direct approach with Polaroid was favourable to the compact film cameras. But it was with a Minolta S-RT 101 during the IAA in 1995 when the next step began. From the very moment I held it in my hands, I was caught by the possibilities it offered and accepted the challenge. Not just point and click but thorough consideration regarding light, motive and expression were now important parts of taking a picture.

Ten years later the return to SLR was combined with a digital camera, the EOS 350D (Rebel).

Currently I'm in for various tasks like events, travel, sports and media but most of the time because its just fun to make pictures and films.

From time to time, the S-RT catches some pictures and reminds me of just little change in photography and the basic rules still apply.

Not just making own pictures but to see how others show their point of view through photography around the world is the dialogue I appreciate on flickr.
