The vast majority of my photos are published under this Creative Commons license. You are free to share and edit those pictures in any way you like, so long as it is for non-commercial purposes and you give me appropriate credit. You are not required to ask for my permission, but I would very much appreciate it if you let me know that you have used my photo. I only ask because it always makes me smile to see that someone liked my picture enough to post it elsewhere. Assuming you follow the terms of the above noted CC license, I will NEVER ask you to remove the picture. In fact, I don't even have the right to do so.
