I'm just a retired person who tries to find beauty in things around me. I find inspiration in the photos of so many of the people who post here, and I have learned so much by studying their work. I also enjoy the art of photo restoration and colorizations. I get a thrill thinking I bring back to life the lives of these wonderful people, many who have been forgotten. Each restoration opens a person's life's story or a moment in history in a way nothing else can. But in today's world I am having to rely on my past year's photos in my older files. In most cases these older photos were never subjected to any of today's post processing. So, as I sit here in my home office, I am reviewing many of these older photos and seeing how I can bring them back to a brighter life with today's programs. Some I will post online, others I will process and file them back into my personal files.
