Photography is my favorite way.......to relax

I am an RN! I enjoy my job for many reasons. It's great to make anyone smile. However, it's even more heartwarming when you can brighten an ill one's face! I love to have people around me smiling! Being an RN, rewards me in many ways! My job is definately one I can wake up to & be glad I am going to work. I also enjoy my homelife too.

As for relaxing, I've always found photography to be very relaxing for me. I never really thought of myself as spectacular or anything there about. It was always nice to hear my friends compliment my photos, but again, it's a way to relax for me. If sharing my photos with others allows any form of enjoyment to them, I'm glad!

I just started using flickr. I think you could pretty much call me an addict! I enjoy viewing everyones photos. I like the expressions they share! In the same, I'm glad I can share mine!

I met my wonderful boyfriend by sending him a compliment on his photos. He is a life event photographer and I never dreamed that a relationship would have came out of a comment! He likes and is great at capturing people while in turn, I like the still or inanimate shots the best. But together when I attend one of his gigs, we've gotten some very awesome photos. He plans to open a flickr, I'm still waiting for that!!! LOL

I don't have any fancy camera, in fact I hardly edit my pics! Someday, I hope to be as savvy with his D300 as he is! But for a bottom line camera I think I can manage it pretty well. He's teaching me the professional side, but I kinda like the freelance of the amatuer. :) Someday....I'll be there.
