This Flickr account was set up mainly to share classic trials and moto-trials photos taken by Lynette and Peter (Mostly by Lynette as I am usually riding), and also share photos of vintage and classic motorcycles and vehicles taken by Peter at Classic Racing and Vintage Car Club events in Canterbury, New Zealand, and sometimes further a field.

This account was also to be used to share astro photos or landscapes taken by Peter in an album called "Views from Down Under" though few had been shared prior to 2022.

So this years resolution is starting the beginning of 2022 to share a photo in this album each week. The year started really well with my first photo of Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest peak, being chosen for Flickr Explore, the top 500 photos posted that day.

I also joined a number of new groups to share my photos with more people. These groups were of the type where you can post a photo in the group provided you promote the group by adding comments with large group logos on other photos in the group. Soon these logos flooded the comments so I missed genuine heart felt comments left by Flickr members who were moved by my photo and weren't compelled by group rules to post a comment. I appreciate these heart felt comments, and am sure you do to when your photos receive them, so instead of pre written group comments, I am now writing individual comments on photos that I find compelling with good subject, colour, and composition, and I have withdrawn from the groups that require these automated messages and won't be adding further photos to those groups.
