The New York Harbor School is a small, public, maritime high school located in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The school was born of the belief that New York City youth, the natural resources of New York Harbor, and the New York metropolitan community collectively form an untapped potential for excellence in secondary public education. Our challenge is to bring those resources into the classroom, and to expand the walls of the school by putting students on the water, to create a school that meets state standards, rules, and regulations.
