Alex I have always enjoyed your photography, you capture your subjects in such a clear, crisp way and that makes them stand out. I always want to jump into your landscape and cityscape pictures as they look so inviting. The flora pictures also grab attention with the vibrant colour and spot on depth of field. Not a lot of photogs can do a magnificent daytime landscape or architectural shot, and even a fewer can come up with a full-proof loupe screened nightshot, and once u threw in an HDR, you can forget about it! But the multitalented NYC Blues pulls off all 3 just like a diner does breakfast, lunch and dinner =) most photogs couldnt even capture a view to set list like his. so how does he do it? behind this professional MD and light blue eyes is some serious focus. He's an epitome of a great well balanced person and living proof that with concentration you can do anything..saving lives, rocking on the guitar, taking burst shots or single manual shots, catching the metro and finding time to give wonderful sincere comments to flickr friends..that's absolutely Alex's territory! Alex is a very kind and patient person who gave me the gift of Pro and taught me how to make my photos better. He had just entered the world of DSLR like 5 months ago but his flexible talent and raw skills was definitely advanced than those i knew who had been on SLR's for years. His photostreams will make u feel that Ive been there but this is 104% way better and magically captured! Looking forward to taking shots with our nikons, exploring NYC with him and perhaps other unchartered territories. NYCBlues + nikon + Flickr = all you need

Where the proliferation of digital cameras and sites like Flickr have made it easier to shoot and share the photographs; at the same time it is really hard these days to stand out and get noticed with one's work. We all have similar cameras, similar software tools and similar web sites to share our work. There is a huge number of highly talented and very creative people with marvelous creations of art out there, competing for very scare time the web surfers have. However for photographers like Alex Filatov there is no such issue. You may stumble upon his photos for a second but then there would be no coming back. You will be hooked way before you know it. Many of us may have seen New York and photos from New York, but the way Alex does t NY is totally outstanding. I am a great admirer of his work, be it HDR or regular shots; daylight beauties or the magical night shots. He has an amazing eye for composition and unique taste for colors and crispness in the images. You can see his most interesting photos here to see what I am talking about: www.flickriver.co... Thank you Alex for being a Flickr contact and thanks for sharing your inspiring work with us.
