The Northwest Junior Pipe Band is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization based in Shoreline, WA, USA.

Our mission is to promote Scottish culture by teaching Piping and Drumming to youth in the Northwest. We've grown to over 40 members in the last few years, and we're going to compete in the World Pipe Band Championships in Scotland in 2008, the first youth band from Washington to compete in Scotland since 1969!

We compete at most Washington State Highland Games, and travel to Canada and Oregon for additional competitions. We took two bands to most Western Washington games this year, and the Grade 5 (beginner) band was undefeated, winning every time they entered. Grade 4 placed 1st in the Tacoma Highland Games and the Whidbey Island Highland Games, 1st in Quartets at the Pacific Northwest Highland Games, 1st Runner Up at the Washington State Championships, and 2nd in Portland.
