Hi There!

Here's my story...sometime around Dec '07 I was talking to a friend about why he's so into "big" camera's...why does he not simply use the point-n-shoots that are so handy? Boy did I open Pandora's box! Instantly I knew I was hooked. The interest that was kindled in me that day turned into a hobby and now it's an obsession. :)

I've poured over books, blogs and any other material I could find to learn. There's so much to learn! I am a geek at heart and have always wanted to be creative. Photography allows me to bring both these worlds together. :->

As with everything else, I am still learning. Everyday that I shoot, I learn something new. Flickr has been an amazing playground. There is so much that the people here have taught me. On my stream you'll find a spattering of subjects, that's because I've not yet finalized what I love shooting most (probably never will!).

My gear includes a Nikon D40x and a D300 with a small spattering of fixed focus and zoom lenses. My fav lenses are the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and the Nikon 105mm. My friends think (and are probably right!) I am addicted to my gear. :)
