My journey with photography began in the 6th grade when I took my very first photo—a moment that sparked a lifelong fascination with capturing the world through a lens. However, it wasn’t until college in the 90s that I truly connected with photography. Surrounded by photographers and artists, I didn’t learn much in terms of formal techniques, but I had a lot of fun along the way.
During my college years, I dabbled in black-and-white photography, learning the basics of developing and printing my own pictures. I used a Nikon FM2, a camera I absolutely loved and still fondly remember.
After many years, I transitioned to digital photography, but life took me in different directions, and I put my camera down for a long time. About two years ago, I rediscovered my passion for photography, picking up where I left off—this time, just for the sheer joy of it. Maybe this time, I’ll even learn something new.
Photography, for me, is a way to have fun, explore creativity, and see the world from different perspectives. I hope you enjoy the photos I share as much as I enjoy taking them.
