Canadian, with an activist, socialist and environmental squint, I like almost any outdoor activity: canoeing, cycling, hiking, camping, photography, reading, thinking, travel, team sports, barbeques, encounters, tanning--anything that exercises the senses, heart, mind, spirit.

I believe in the wisdom of the sages: know yourself, nothing in excess; learn, follow, think, feel, express, do, be righteousness; love your neighbour as yourself; do not be afraid; beyond wrong and right is that field where we will meet. I want to climb to the mountaintop and I want to breathe that air and see that world. I hope you'll be there.

I love a clever wit, a genuine smile, a penetrating mind, a hedonistic spirit, an incisive faith, a new experience, and anyone or anything intriguing or beautiful.

And right here and right now is exactly where I want to be.
