The first thing that you should know is that I am a storyteller. I just discovered this about myself this year. I write. I've been writing for years. Poems, short stories, screenplays. I love photography. I used to only take out the camera when traveling, as a way to capture a moment in time that I might not otherwise remember. Then something grew inside me and I realized that photography was another form of storytelling . . . and then I really fell in love with it. So I've really only started this year to seriously pursue it. But I'm eager to learn.

I'm in awe of some of the people on Flickr. There are some that have carved out their creative niche and rarely stray from it. They take remarkable photographs. But the people I truly admire are the ones who try different things and grow and expand in their knowledge of wonderful art known as the writing of light.
