Many of my photographs relate to my interest in ocean pools within and beyond Australia. I use the term 'ocean pools' to refer to public seawater pools sited on surfcoasts so that waves can wash into the pool.

In 2012, I completed my PhD on the many ocean pools along Australia's coast, including around 100 ocean pools along the NSW coast.

I am now the Chairperson of a non-profit association called All into Ocean Pools Inc incorporated in 2015 to advocate and promote the ongoing use, study and ceelbration of ocean pools within and beyond Australia.

The All into Ocean Pools Inc website (allintooceanpoolsinc.org/) goes far beyond the website on NSW ocean pools, that I developed thanks to a grant from the NSW Heritage Office, formally launched in 2006 and operated until 2011.
