To be perfectly honest, I didn't get real serious about photography until my best friend died and I realized the only things left were my memories of him and the photographs to protect those memories in my mind forever. From that day on, photography has taken a new meaning for me. It captures events, people, places, and things in my life that are memories in time. As time goes by, I know in many many years from now (hopefully many of those many's) my memory of my past will fade. Looking at photographs has always given my mind a refresher to things I may have forgotten. Photography is not just something I do as a hobby. It's the one thing that can take me away from whatever is going on in my life and allow me to capture and live in someone else's for just a moment. It's a passion.

So, with that being said, this is a photographic journey through my eyes; through my life.
