The Northern Regional Resource Centre for Persons with Disabilities (RCPWD) is a disability resource centre based in Tamale, the Northern Region of Ghana. Since 1998, the Resource Centre has aimed to coordinate efforts across Ghana’s Northern Region to ensure persons with disabilities (PWDs) can live in dignity with full access to work, health services, education and society. The RCPWD works to educate the public about disability, breakdown the barriers of stigmatization and provide advice and help to PWDs around the Northern Region.

Our Vision: For persons with disabilities in Northern Ghana to enjoy their fundamental rights and freedoms and live as active and equal members of society.

Our Mission Statement: Coordinating efforts across Ghana’s Northern Region to ensure persons with disability live in dignity, with equal access to rights and opportunities as full members of society.
